    The Fields of Prime

    Description

The Fields is the largest and most central region of the Prime, flanked to the west by the Khardran Mountains and surrounded by the east and north by the Loremark Forest belt. It is a large and fertile plain of grassy fields, much of which has been turned into farmland.

The seemingly endless, flat plains stretch right to the edge of the horizon, soft and green and beautiful, with the great purple mountains of the Khardran rising into the clouds far into the distance.

    History

The Fields has been an important part of the agriculture and sustainability of Aelyria Prime with the cultivation of its land feeding much of the great capital and its surrounding regions. The great fertility and bountiful crops seen in every harvest is considered a blessing by the goddess Carmelya herself.

    Geography

    Terrain

The Fields is a flat plain of endless farms and grasslands, broken only by the waters of the Ioannes River and the Imperial Roads.

    Climate

The climate within The Fields is typified by warm, moist summers and mild winters. Late summer and early spring often sees heavy rain which moves east from the Khardran Mountains, providing much of the water needed for irrigation that can not be achieved by the many smaller streams that feed from the River Ioannes.
