Juanerro

It has long been known that Humans have a tendency to attempt to beat anything better than that which they have created. The Juanerro is the failed attempt at breeding a Horse faster than the Windstepper.

Named after the Emperor Constantine, this beast was hoped to prove, once and for all, man's superiority over Elves. While it was far from successful, the Juanerro serves several useful purposes. While not strong enough to be used as a jousting mount, they are much faster than their Mellan cousins, and strong enough to wear a good amount of barding. They are either an utter failure, or the best of both worlds. The military... has chosen number two.
