Hey all, I’m really glad to see this sites up and running!!! I played a few characters on the old Aelyria site my favorite of which was an aspiring Paladin of Faith liontaur named Maahes. It’s been a long time and I’m not even sure Paladin of faith was the name of the organization he was part of but it sounds so familiar…. Any way since it’s a new site and new feel I was dabbling with the idea of starting over and wanted some ideas of Paladin like organizations that may be out there for new recruits. I liked Maahes and will probably stick with the same general theme, a lone liontaur thaumaturgist who gets his kicks off by hunting undead. he may be a freelance worker or he may be seeking employment through the government, military or the church I’m not sure yet. Any cool ideas would be helpful, starting locations and known factions in particular.

As for Undead, I'm personally not sure where they're collected now that the Sherian is mostly cleared. The big cities right now appear to be Medonia, Primus Gaudeo, Nexus Prime, Ziel Aerca, if you're looking for opportunities!

thank you so much this will help a lot… most people considered Maahes a lionoid but he always preferred the term liontaur, it made himself feel more primal lol

Maahes had a few xp points into thaumaturgy and at least 1 or 2 into the sword skill and he was working on a few threads to learn blacksmithing. One of which he was working with a dwarf in Prime and the other he was working at the chapter house in Prime mostly repairing weapons and armor for the paladins of faith there. My thread to become an official neophyte was complete but it’s conclusion was pending the completion of one of my blacksmith threads (I think) because that was a pre requisite to becoming a full fledged member of the paladins. Unfortunately I can’t really remember where I left off. I do know that one of his first task as a neophyte was to work closely with the constable of Prime on a murder mystery type thread, it was really interesting…

If I wanted to continue as Maahes would that be possible? if so how would I go about getting my xp and equipment situated and how would my ranking within the paladins work?

Oh yeah, I did finish the thread where he worked for the dwarf and at the end of it Maahes was gifted a sakabato or reverse bladed katana he named lions claw its all coming back to me now lol

A bunch of Secrets of Foresight were saved, but there isn't one for Maahes in the salvaged archive that I can see. I do see some glimpsed references to Maahes Lionheart but the old site is totally gone. I suggest post up a help desk ticket to ask about picking up old xp/items! Also if you were active during the old old alleria.com days it's possible a very old version of your CIR might still be kicking on wayback somewhere.
