Eyvind Redbeard
Last Chancer
Eyvind Björnsson of Clan Avornmagor
Name: Eyvind Björnsson of Clan Avornmagor Aliases: The Redbeard Race: Human, Vagaran of the Gothir Tribe Age: 37 Ordinations, born on the 2nd of Ioannes of Era 10195 Place of Birth: Gonehameau, Libertas Peninsula, Northumbria Current Residence: Wanderer Physical Description: Eyvind is a Vagaran and possesses many features common to such ancient and mighty lineage such as light skin and blue eyes so light in colour as to be mistaken for ice. Tall to the point of towering he stands at 7 feet in height. His is a muscled body, toned from years serving in the Imperial Legions and the decade he was coerced into forced labour in the salt mines on the Penal Colony of Terramarique. Scars dot most of his body, notably a wolf's claw on his left shoulder as a misfortune in his youth. His hands are a remarkable feature of his, being proportionally large as the man himself and turn into hammering fists whenever he tenses up. His hair, once red as the scales of a Fire Drake, have since dulled out to grey with nothing but shades of their former glory due to the hardships he has endured during his imprisonment. His beard, covering his jaw and extending in a mustache over his upper lip has fallen prey of the same discolouration, but it still turns red occasionally with the blood of his enemies. ........................................................................................................................................................................................................... Eyvind is a character with a long history of getting himself into the worst possible situations for all the wrong reasons. He used to be a high ranking officer in the Legions during the Second Sherian War. When everyone's vibe was to change the Empire into a Kingdom he created a rump Imperial state in Sherian, the resistance he called it, others named it the rebellion. It didn't went well, he was captured, brainwashed and imprisoned, and the province was essencially destroyed by careless use of Arcana. He has spent the last decade locked in the salt mines of Terramarique doing hard labour until his brainwash reconfigured itself so now he is once more faithfully loyal to the Empire. Finding himself free he has found a horse and ridden off to rebuild his life and save the Empire.
He can usually be found in the southeastern provinces of the Empire (Prime, Sherian and Maeve) where he is trying to rebuild the Empire and reclaim Sherian. For the moment Eyvind is a rather straightforward character who will not shy away from helping when he can, but he has been growing grim due to hardship.
