Which, wasn’t outside,
The realm of possibility given Clairé’s notion,
Of advertising,
And a wildly inappropriate notion of the where and when,
Nuzzling away,
Fond as ever as she snuggled against Melissa,
Adamant that she wasn’t going to miss the Grand Opening of the Bakery,
Nope, definitely not when it was Anna’s!,
Plus, first (presumably!) Jorelite Bakery in Medonia too!
The ‘when’ and what not,
Problems for the Future, and well,
Primary concern? Location and making sure that Anna was getting started,
Rather than running the risks of procrastination,
“Only as good as,
You and Anna, My Love. We’re in it together.”
Definitely!
Proud of what,
They’d already accomplished within Medonia,
And quite feeling that it was much more theirs than Temperance had been,
Today?
“Delectable, lots of fun,
Met some new people which is always nice.” ClairĂ© beamed,
Still nuzzling against Melissa’s throat and peppering with kisses,
“How about yours? Anything interesting happen?”

To be fair, where else besides a bakery were you supposed to find a cream-filled Éclair?

Melissa, in the meantime, was more than happy to field Clairé's flirtations, giggling at the assault of her wife's lips against her throat, shivering at the teasing sensation of the kisses. "Well, can be nice." The noblewoman had definitely met plenty of new people who were horrid. But one supposed it could be considered good, because at least now you know where they stood? Melissa supposed that perhaps it was a touch better at the Lavender Haze, especially when the troublesome customers tended to be filtered out before they managed to get so far into the establishment.

Sigh, if only matters of nobility were so easy! Cliques and power dynamics, and it so often tended to be the case that the wrong people seemed to find themselves in positions of power. (In Melissa's humble opinion, of course.)

Hm, anything interesting happen? That depended on one's definition of interesting. Melissa? A lover of gossip!

The news of so-and-so getting pregnant with so-and-so's child, and they definitely weren't married.

The look on such-and-such's face when she realized she wasn't invited to a certain party.

What's-his-face apparently getting kneed in the balls by somebody, a very dramatic rejection! Some pricks were just way too persistent, good on what's-her-face, hope she'd worn a steel-toed heel! (Did they make those? They should.)

And to think, all of that from just a single social event! No matter Melissa had needed to unwind a bit upon returning home, it'd been quite the lengthy and eventful one. But it seemed like she'd had fun, or at the very least enjoyed herself to some degree, been quite productive. More importantly, though? By the time Melissa was done explaining, it seemed like Anna had finished up! Coming out with the towel around her neck and very much dressed similarly to Clairé.

Melissa? Immediately making the same grabby-hands motion towards Anna as she had with Clairé. Come! Join!

Content to but,
Tease and enjoy Her Lover’s warmth,
Even as ClairĂ© couldn’t help but make for idle hands,
Where if they were to be Mister Jorel’s plaything?
Then who was Clairé anything other?
As they teased and roamed, squeezing and kneading gently,
Ever encouraging as they sought exposed flesh and soft curves alike with equal abandon,
Nice? Mhmm,
More often than not,
When even the most boring, still tended to be,
Far better than the ‘baseline’ that was Clairé’s notion of Bad Experiences,
Which
 was a short list truly,
Clairé?
Quite thinking she had the better of it,
When Talky-Talk tended to be in a very specific direction,
And what Melissa had to deal with? Far more confusing,
Happy as ever,
To stay within her own lane,
Of prostitution and whoring, thanking you very much!
This Éclair? Quite readily cream-filled!
Gossip?
Dalliances and Child,
Affairs and huh, being neglected, ignored,
Kneed in the balls? What a waaaaaaste, as that brought a wince,
But good on them? Huh, go figure, as Clairé tended to be more of a mind of,
How much might they pay for her to go kiss it better?!
Anna though!
Anna-Anna-Anna! And Clairé,
Likewise, arm extended as it to draw their third into the critical mass of their marriage,
Come!

Where Anna was usually the rock that the other two gravitated towards? There was no problem with shaking up the roles every now and again. Things being static was ever so dull, after all, and especially with Melissa and Clairé beckoning so? Well, Anna supposed there was the temptation to just walk on over and scoop the both of them up...

...maybe next time. This time? Snuggling in as the third, next to Clairé, each of them claiming a bit of Melissa's lap. The presence of two freshly-bathed women and, well, things were heating up. Steamy!

"What're we talking about?" Anna inquired curiously, for all that Melissa ducked her way out of the current conversation in favor of motorboating the pair of them at the same time. Smothering herself in the pairs' pairs, considering their state of (un)dress just currently all up in her face. Opportunity found, opportunity claimed! And leaving it to Clairé in the moment to catch Anna up on the going-ons.

Wasn't a conscious effort on Melissa's part or anything, not like she wanted to avoid answering. Just, saw, wanted, went for it! Intrusive thoughts won! And Anna, quite amused, sure fair enough, just immediately swiveling over expectantly to Clairé. Hi!

Melissa was here,
Lap! And more the merrier for sure,
Once Anna arrived!
Curling up, the little trio,
That was, t’was as ClairĂ© just beamed,
Rosy cheeked, flushed as she nestled in on the warmth that was Her Lovers so,
”Grand Opening,
And Melissa’s day, just the local goss.” ClairĂ© beamed,
Ever cheerful, even if much of the nature of what went on in Melissa’s social circle,
Sounded all kinds of off to the Jorelite,
Very much,
A stay in her lane,
Kind of girl, and ever interested in Melissa,
But the Nobility and the Well-Off? Limited to the naughtier, seedier shenanigans,
That made much more sense to her!
Just, hard to Talky-Talk when being,
Given that kind of attention by Melissa, and the bubbly laughter,
Only winning out as ClairĂ© grabbed Her Lover’s head, holding her close for just a moment,
Ever encouraging, of lips brushing against the soft curves,
And ever more as the barbell piercings had since been replaced by fine hoops so that,
A little more ‘tug’ could be wrought within Clairé’s rampant whoring,
Hi!
“Uh, some guy,
Got his balls kicked in, another person got knocked up,
Y’know, this and that!”

Mmhm? Mmhm! Anna, well, in much the same position as Clairé when it came to the sort of things that went on in Melissa's life. More or less just an amused spectator, there for Melissa but really not paying attention to much else. Not unless she was told to, of course, in her capacity as the Countess' wife. There to do her best to be useful, and to not be an embarrassment to the noblewoman when they were all on the social scene!

Melissa, in the meantime, not needing to be encouraged. Hands and face busying themselves!

"This and that!" Anna laughed with a nod, figuring it was more or less something along those lines. Where Clairé was focused more on the naughtier and seedier side of things? Anna was perhaps more of a generalist - still limited, but paying a bit more attention to the scene as a whole. Neither could yet hold a candle to somebody actually 'trained' for the Grand Game, but... well, that was okay, because they were their own people at that! Worst-case scenario, Anna got a reputation as the sort of noblewoman who'd do a lot more than just splash a glass of wine in somebody's face if she was offended!

Speaking of which? A hand to join Clairé's atop Melissa's head, and ensure the noblewoman was well and smothered.

"I just wanted to make sure, by the way," Anna beamed, "that once I get things sorted, that we make sure the both of you are the first people who get to see my bakery once it's fully up and running?" Birds of a feather... even if apart, their thoughts often trended in the same direction. "Assuming you all won't be too busy, of course!"

Melissa? Holding up a thumbs up! Would absolutely clear her schedule for something like this, no worries!

Mostly though,
All ClairĂ© had really got out of Melissa’s gossip,
Was that there was someone out there in Medonia,
Who while a little too pressing on giving an uninterested party their attention,
That might be quite keen,
Upon ClairĂ© playing ‘Nurse’,
Deep sighs,
Fond as ever, basking in Her Lover’s company,
This and that, mhmm!
And between them? So long as Melissa was smothered,
(And y’know, occasionally allowed up to breathe?), what was the harm?
”Oh, Jorel yes,
I wouldn’t have it any other way, Sweetheart.” ClairĂ© flushed,
Rosy cheeked at the definite belief that Meli and herself were to be the first customers! Mhmm!
“I’ll make sure,
Sharr clears my schedule,
And I’m sure Melissa can be convinced,
To leave things quite unavailable then too for her side of the business.”
Mhmm!
Busy, ideally so,
Oh yes, but for the Grand Opening?
Lavender Haze was Clairé’s goal, the betterment of the Dollhouse her dream,
But this, this was Important,
And quite the non-negotiable; Toys could wait,
Even if ClairĂ© wasn’t entirely confident she could,

Sometimes all you needed to nurse somebody to better health was to kiss it better! Right? (Somewhere, the Director of the Moonstone Academy was caught between the professional demands of being a healer and the simple want to, like, slut it up.) But, that was arguably the sort of detail that could be important in Melissa's machinations. Gossip like that was exactly the sort of thing that could help determine where Clairé might be strategically deployed next. Somebody with a broken heart, somebody with wounded pride and groin, somebody who might be particularly vulnerable to what the Jorelite had to offer.

Far better than just throwing Clairé at potentially relevant parties and hoping for the best! No, it was best to be smart about these sorts of things. And that's how you could tell Melissa was actually very clever, because she didn't even need to wear the glasses or anything!

Now that you could necessarily immediately tell, with the current state she was in. Finally popping herself, free, only to reassuredly wrap her arms around Anna and laugh. "Of course! The First Minister himself could come and ask for a meeting and I'd tell him I was busy visiting my wife's bakery instead!" Invite him along, if anything! No, Sharr would just have to figure it out, as would Melissa, in terms of scheduling. Things could be rearranged, and if people had to be let down? So be it! No greater priority! Machinations and plans, but what could possibly be more important at the end of the day than the happiness of one's spouse? Happy wife, happy life!

"Then I'll make sure to let the both of you know as soon as I can, to make sure arranging it is as easy as possible," Anna hummed, reaching over to grab Clairé and pull her into their group feels-good hug session. "Starting tomorrow... things start for real. It's... exciting! Nerve-wracking! Almost doesn't feel real."

Pinch! "Real enough?" Melissa grinned, Anna sticking her tongue out at the noblewoman.

"Let's get to bed. Tomorrow honestly can't come soon enough," Anna sighed happily. T'was happening!

Just a little bit,
Single-minded when it came to Play,
And finding her next Toy,
But still, in the company of Melissa and Anna?
There was some restraint,
Bound to the pair, the warmth and affection ever keeping Clairé on track,
Rather than the notion of,
Needing to go for a walk, or, more likely,
A ‘ride’ in the stables,
Might not have been,
Able to turn down the attentions of another,
But within Her Lover’s embrace, certainly wasn’t seeking them out,
That though,
The notion of the First Minister being turned down?
Oh. That would be a hard sell,
Surely that kind of thing was entirely Important for Melissa’s own Goals?
Oh dear!
Confused for a moment,
Where the idea that,
One day, Clairé might have to choose,
Between one of Meli’s goals, and one of Anna’s?
Did. Not. Compute.
Hurt.
And Clairé, all kinds of perplexed,
By the unwelcome possibility,
Was not the brains of the operation,
But it’d be Kay, would! Definitely!
If it was meant to be? Her Mister Jorel would ensure! Ayup!
Had Faith!
Plus,
Mister Jorel had given Clairé the edict of All,
Where sure, it’d led to All the Toys,
But if it meant that the Grand Opening of the Jorelite Bakery,
Demanded ClairĂ© being bent over by the First Minister as a part of the ‘Christening’, then she was definitely that girl! ClairĂ© the soon to be cream-filled Éclair!
As the banter just left a smile,
To replace the furrowed brow and concerns,
“Bed!”
And with that,
Slipping from Melissa’s lap,
The neat little pirouette as, oh yes,
Definitely time for Bed!

The good news was that Melissa and Anna were plenty enough smart to do the thinking for the three of them, so Clairé needn't worry about that sort of thing! To each their own, and if there was a situation where Clairé was the one who had to do the thinking for the group, then...

...well, surely Jorel wouldn't put them in a situation like that to begin with! (Which, all right, wasn't fair. There were definitely plenty of useful things that Clairé knew, that might be useful to pull out in future! Which, one might say, was different from being the one responsible to actually put together a complicated plan or scheme. All right, fair. But surely in the worst-case scenario, she could just pull out those glasses of hers in a pinch?)

Bed!

Slipping out of Melissa's lap, the noblewoman letting out a bit of a wistful sigh at that, but alas! Bed was over there and Melissa was over here! It was only natural, and soon enough? Bed for the three of them! Where if nothing else, Melissa seemed to have ensured somehow that she was sandwiched between Anna and Clairé, and all was right with the world once more.

Night, Loves!

And looking forward to tomorrow!

Bedtime!
And with that,
The peppering of kisses and the dragging,
Of Her Lover’s off to the warmth,
Of their own little domain,
Bedtime!
Admittedly,
With a rather confusing thought,
Upon the young woman’s mind,
Having never quite considered that,
Everyone and Anything, also included the First Minister,
But now? Sure! Why not! Who was ClairĂ© to deny?
Standards,
By and large just meant,
Experiences not claimed, and the list,
Of Toys that ClairĂ© wouldn’t happily have another round with,
Remained a list of one Name and one Name only,
Curled up with Her Lovers,
Draped across Melissa’s side,
An arm but stretched, reaching ever to ensure,
That Clairé was touching Anna too,
Skin on skin on skin,
Fur and scales,
Were all well and good, truly,
But there remained something needed,
Necessary about touch and Her Wives,
ZzzZZzzzZzz!

ZzzZzZzzzZzZzzZ

And the next morning, beginning much the same as usual. Namely, by the time that Clairé woke up? Anna seemed to have already been awake for some time, whereas Melissa was still blissfully slumbering away. Of course, part of why Anna might have been up and about was due to a bit of nerves and anxiety over things finally getting started for her bakery, but for the most part? The routine helped quite a bit with that.

Morning exercises and stretches! Hup!

The plan? Best to treat it like a cold shower, and just get it done and over with. First thing in the morning, Anna would head out! So with any luck, it was entirely possible that she'd get this sorted before lunch. And if not? Well, at the very least by the end of the day, hopefully she'd have good news for Clairé and Melissa!

ZzzzzZzzz!
But a quick, flit,
Within the Dreamscape,
Certainly nothing to mess with a solid night’s sleep,
For all that Clairé,
Ever made a point of sending off,
Her various proceeds with the battered Vox being sent through,
To a certain Champion of Alithea to do as she saw fit!
But come morning?
The sleepy, addle-headed Jorelite,
Bed-mussed and tired, groggy and lethargic,
As Clairé remained hardly a morning person at all, even if,
Not quite so poorly off as Melissa as ClairĂ© snuggled in and dreaded the notion of having to leave the warmth of their bed,
Dragging herself,
Out only so far enough so that she might,
Be able to watch Anna’s morning routine, ever fascinated by the little show,
And a nod, fond smiles, at the notion that,
Their Love wasn’t going to dilly-dally, that the nudge to start the Bakery had been enough,
Neat!
Which meant?
Had a day that was largely,
Business as usual!
Well, short of Melissa having anything for her,
But that, as Clairé flopped on her back amongst the bedding,
Was also a case of,
She’d been procrastinating something too,
Humming softly,
As a hand extended above her head,
Idly calling forth
Elementalism? No, no thanks
uh, Ikos? This was not at all being helpful
[/center]
Going through the motions,
Until Clairé found Her Necromancy,
‘cause was time to send forth the Ping! And see,
If, like the Primeheim’s Devil had an Arrangement, if there was anyone else,
That might like to get in on the action,
Because Clairé had a craving to pursue when it came to her dietary options

Elementalism! Well, who was to say that an elemental couldn't do something like that?

Ikos! Well, who was to say that slapping a rune somewhere couldn't do something like that?

Nothing ventured, nothing gained! Fine, fine, they'd stick with necromancy and demons and whatnot.

Whatever it was that the Primeheim's Devil had arranged, if you really thought about it, it was more a straight boon than anything else. Not exactly much of a cost involved there. One wondered what exactly the difference was between an arrangement like so, and a brand that one might receive from a deity - at what point in the hierarchy of divinity did it become something that could interfere with the Championship bestowed by Jorel?

But in any case, the ask was put out there, the Jorelite fishing for somebody who might be able to arrange what she was looking for, and eventually there seemed to be some manner of inquest sent back-

-namely, if she could be a bit more specific with terms? What exactly was it that she wanted? People wanted to know before signing on to any sort of venture!

And in the meantime? "Feel like anything in particular for breakfast?" Anna, starting to get to the end of her routine, and getting ready to start the day proper! Which also meant? Time for Melissa to awaken from her slumber. Very groggily and reluctantly.

Round and round,
The spheres went, as working through,
Chaos Magic at times,
Did so tend to follow the challenges of Power and Sphere,
But cast enough, and eventually? ClairĂ© got the results - even if she didn’t dare try to force things outside a more controlled environment,
Chaos was to be welcomed, but odds were low that a Lucreta or a Treant would have what Clairé was after in the moment,
Nothing ventured, nothing gained!
And it’d been something on Clairé’s mind for quite some time,
Certainly since the ending of the Vacation and the beginning of the New,
Worst case? Clairé was just going to have to wait,
For the Primeheims’ Devil to show again for the annual ‘Gift;, even if the Demon,
Had been something of a no-show the last two years

Lazily lying upon the bed,
Humming away softly all the while,
Where,
As with the Perfit,
And the Income Bargaining,
There was the intent towards Simple,
Rather than run the risks of over-complication,
Either it could be, or it wouldn’t,
And either way? Worth the questioning!
Though worst case,
Witchcraft or some kind of Imbuement might manage such a conversion,
As ClairĂ© was all for doubling down upon Kaith’s corruptive elements and simply,
Continuing the theme and then some,
Oh, right, Kaith,
Well if the Dracoliche wanted to offer anything,
Via Family Matters and an ‘Out’ like Havina had achieved, now was the time to speak up too!
Specific?
Nutrition, sufficient to thrive, healthy!
When consuming a Toy’s, sorry, a male’s semen,
Which as Anna spoke regarding breakfast?
There was a wistful,
“Oh yes
” even if ClairĂ© didn’t deign to answer specifically there,

Which, it seemed, was just a touch awkward bargain to try and get. There were some things that did, you know, make sense to somebody with a Demon or even a Fiend's physiology. Something like Perfit worked regardless of whether you had a mortal body or a 'shell' that you were summoned into. But was the concept of eating, of ingesting mortal food (or substances in general), something that these otherworldy entities necessarily understood?

It was, at the very least, not something that ClairĂ© would immediately get a response on. A bit of research potentially required, or maybe an entity like the Primeheims’ Devil that broke the mold.

In any case? For now, breakfast! Which, Anna, waiting a little expectantly for the elaboration on the what, which was not forthcoming. Melissa, instead, quietly offering up the possibility of pancakes instead, please?

It was deemed acceptable, and off Anna would go to see about making those preparations! By the time Melissa dragged herself out of bed, hopefully it'd be all done and ready for the three of them. For now, though? Melissa would just sort of drape herself around Clairé, relying on the Jorelite to get out of bed first before the noblewoman would proceed to follow. Because if Clairé hadn't gotten out of bed yet, surely there was no need for Melissa to be in a hurry? (Very psychological!)

Sure,
Challenges to be faced,
But ultimately? Offer sent, and whether,
Any could provide?
Worst case, was going to be exactly where she was, t’was,
The silence though,
Enough to add a nudge to Kaith the Creepy,
And the reminder that the transference to one of the Baby Dracoliches remained,
Entirely upon the table,
Uncertain as to what the Corrupted Guise could be wrought as,
But curious enough, like Nakasha’s Vampirism, as to where it might lead,
Meantime?
Bed! Breakfast!
And Clairé reluctantly dragging herself out of the bed,
Where the prospect of pancakes? “Sounds perfect!”
A different sort of meal,
But no less desired, as even if,
The Jorelite’s tastes had taken quite a turn over the years,
There remained a happy inclination towards sweets and treats,
Cuddles and procrastination with Melissa?
All kinds of tempting, but Clairé, half-on the edge of the bed,
Half drawn towards the kitchen and the knowledge of the yummy food and warmth found within,
”Fud,
Come along sleepy-head,
Time for pancakes! Better hot than left to cool,
So let’s be off, Beautiful!”

Kaith, as silent and sullen as ever. Not everybody could be quite as lucky as Havina when it came to the terms of freedom, alas, that perfect coincidence where Clairé could provide exactly the incentives to get things to go as she pleased.

In the meantime? Pancakes! (Please don't defile the pancakes with liquid protein.)

A bit of encouragement from Clairé was just what Melissa needed, just what the noblewoman had been after. Somehow it was just easier when it was somebody else actually encouraging her to do things, you know? Especially when it was one of her Loves - but to be fair, the point on pancakes being best when they were fresh was a pretty solid point at that.

It'd still be just a little sluggish, but eventually? By the time the two of them managed to get themselves ready and make their way over, the pancakes were definitely ready! Veritable stacks prepared for all three, plenty of syrup to be poured if desired, butter if one might desire, fresh fruit to accompany at that. And of course, if anybody wanted more, Anna could always make sure to make more at that!

Hearty breakfast! They said the first meal was the most important of the day, and Anna was there to make sure that her two Loves got their fill!

Kaith,
Ever unhelpful,
And Clairé still not sure how to wrangle that,
When Havina had been much more malleable as the former High Priestess of Jorel,
Once Mr. Spade had entered the equation,
Oh well!
Didn’t think she had much,
Outside the Dracoliche Babies by way of incentive,
And if Kaith wanted to gamble on its continued existence by being housed within Clairé,
Rather than its own self and entity, then so be it,
Even if, the Succubus aspects of the Corrupted Guise remained an alluring possibility,
Pancakes though,
Was all kinds of promising,
As the notion of the Offer, Clairé remained,
Hedging that a Succubi or Incubi, or perhaps a Satyr,
Might be a little more understanding as to the Jorelite’s inclinations and perversions,
Meli!
H’up! Come along!
Wanted the pancakes fresh and hot,
Then no time for dilly-dallying, nuh-uh! Nope!
The tug-o-war,
Gently pulling Melissa all the way,
In her own haste to reach the kitchen, no,
Definitely not one who appreciated cold pancakes,
When the promise of warmth awaited!
Aaaaaall the syrup!
Noms!

People already said that the longer-lived races tended to think in entirely different ways - how about one that was functionally immortal? What sort of timeframe did an entity like Kaith work and think in?

At the very least, so far, it didn't seem like Kaith was an impediment. So at least there was that.

For now, breakfast awaited! Hot and fresh pancakes with all the syrup, the early morning not particularly conducive to conversations, and so it was simplest to simply stuff one's mouth full and eat well. Enjoying the food was a sacred part of any meal, you know! And Anna, of course, making sure to eye Melissa and Clairé carefully, make sure to gauge whether or not the two of them had enough and needed more pancakes to be made.

Melissa, of course, inevitably finding that Anna had made too much and politely offering the remainder to Anna, who was more than happy to wolf it down. Far better to have too much available than not enough, and Anna always seemed to be capable of polishing off the excess!

"You'll let us know tonight about how acquiring the property went?"
Melissa asked, yawning, with Anna nodding in response. "Just let us know, and we'll help arrange with getting the building ready!"

Needed to be just a bit careful, probably shouldn't cart out the Imps too ostentatiously to help get the building ready to become a bakery. But Melissa and Clairé could certainly still offer their help there! And with Melissa having finished up her meal, it was about time to get the day started - so long as Clairé confirmed that she'd had enough to eat, of course!
