Morning, the Fortieth Brightening of Cryxatum, Spring, PFXVIII
Kaar and Raeli boarded the ferry, soaked in rain and cold, but for the most part rested. It was time to go home, they had much to do, and not much time left to do it. At least they had seen some things during their time here.
With that, they headed from the shores of Eunesia.

It was nice to see the city again, so clean and lawful, his family would be good and safe there, but alas, he had other obligations he had to tend to. Boarding the ferry, this time, he had the correct coinage for the trip. It was still raining and pouring, and somewhere, an old man was probably snoring, but hey, at least he didn't have to degrade himself on his way back. Boarding the ferry was nothing remarkably special, and they were quickly off.

It had been well over half an era since the dark maiden had set foot on the shores of Ieffreon.
Considering how long she had lived on the island, it almost felt like she was coming home. That didn’t make the boat ride any easier, the familiar sea-sickness washing over the Thaumaturgist and making her feel a little worse for wear. Then again, the fact she had a fear of large expanses of water didn’t exactly help matters either. Boats floated on water, but the woman still found herself constantly wondering what might happen if the boat were to ever sink. That was never a comforting thought in her mind.
Soon enough she was back on land, and Triel allowed herself a huge sigh of relief. She knew the procedure for Ieffreon, go through the docks, visit the customs house, get the weapons she had peace-bound and then head into the city. This was one of the only places where visas and questions were not asked, all part of the charm in her mind. With a very content smile, the woman headed through the gates, straight for the custom’s offices to have her weapons dealt with.

Kaar departed the ferry from Olympia in a decent mood. He only had a couple of things to do here, and he had a feeling one would be simple. 'The usual, nothing to report, continuing my own training' yada yada yada. As far as members of a highly elite silent cell of people who ensured balance in the world, Kaar felt a little ditched, but in any case things went well enough anyways.
Later, The Same Brightening.
Kaar had what he'd come for. He boarded the boat for the mainland, and headed home.

While cleaning out her cabin aboard the AAFS Mercy, Qiara had come across an odd little piece of paper. She'd almost thrown it away before she realized what it was - a 500-crown voucher she had won almost two eras ago, during a scavenger hunt in Ieffreon. She had tried to give it to Kalashnikov, the kindhearted dorin who had given his scavenger hunt items to a beleaguered competitor, but the dorin had predictably refused. Well, she had some time off to spare, so Qiara figured she might as well make use of the thing before she forgot about it again.
So it was that Qiara found herself boarding the familiar ferry to the White City, a place that still held so many memories of pain and happiness for her. A small smile came across her face as the white marble walls of Ieffreon appeared on the horizon. She had worn one of her bright Ieffreonian tunics, a gesture which had filled her with indescribable homesickness when she tried it on in her cabin.
She raised a hand in a friendly greeting at the pair of guards who patrolled the entrance to the city. She had left her obsidian sword in Port Alyxandrya, so there was no need for her to register any weapons; she was just here on a shopping trip. No harm in that.
Lowering the hood of her violet cloak, Qiara stepped once more into the arms of those white marble walls.

Well, it had been a slice, but Kaar needed to be getting back home now. He slid into clara, focused on the plane of force, channeled man, conjured his anchor point at home, and vanished with a pop.
