Welcome. You can start building your character here, there will be links provided if you want to go deeper on any subject along the way, but they are not required reading. Please make sure to answer any questions posed along the way in your character's backstory, as they serve both as a way to give you an idea of your character's place in the game world and as a tool for anyone roleplaying with you to give them an idea of what your character is about.

Ancestry

Standing between dwarves and humans in height, elves are generally distrusted for their history of rebellion. Outside of their enclaves they are relatively sparse, but their long lifespans give them plenty of opportunity to amass power.

Shorter even than dwarves, sprite are said to have one foot in the material world and one in the world of the fae. Even with their slight stature, their hollow bones make them surprisingly light and their butterfly wings let them fly.

Life Paths

Pick an option from the list below. While all the choices start you with a Sterling wealth ranking, suggesting a modest income, you may choose to go below it and be a pauper should you wish to do so. In this step you are picking your first skill, this is an important choice as it will often define a lot about what your character pursues so don't be afraid to give it a little time to think.

Specialisation

From this list, pick an option. You cannot pick a different magic skill if you picked one in step 2, if you pick the same skill as you picked in step 2, treat it as a lvl 2 skill. If you picked the same trade skill twice you do not get two sets of tools.
